The Overnight Train

Last night we went on an overnight train and we got a bedroom instead of having to sit in seats. There was a top bunk bed, a middle bunk bed and a low bunk bed, and there were two of each. Blair and I got to sleep on the top bunks and I fell off in the middle of the night. I would have broken my arm but I fell on a lower bunk and bounced off it, which broke my fall. After that Mum and Dad got scared, and took Violet down to a low bunk, and Blair to a middle bunk, and I had to share Mum’s bed. I was on the side that Miss DelCaro slept on when she took an overnight train trip with Mum.
