Today we went ice skating. The rink was outside; you can't do that in Australia because it is so hot and all the ice would melt. It was snowing while we skated. I started off with a Penguin and Blair started off with no Penguin. A Penguin is something you hold on to when you skate.
We loved it so much that we asked Dad to take us back again. We went at 4pm when it is dark here, and so all the christmas lights were on and it was very beautiful. This time I started with a Penguin and ended without Penguin, and thats why I got really good at it. The first session I fell over 3 times, and the second session I fell over twice when I skated without a Penguin.
We went ice skating because there was nothing else to do. The car and the roads were covered in snow and we couldn't go anywhere. When we got home it was snowing really heavily so that the snow was about 10cm high.
